Welcome to Gay’s Farm!
We are proud to offer delicious beef from The Branscombe Herd of Red
Ruby Devon Cattle reared on the farm and on local nature reserves, and
pork from our herd of free-range, British Lop pigs.
The cattle are reared entirely from grass grown in flower-rich meadows and
pastures managed for nature conservation. The Herds live outdoors in the
fields, woods & orchards all year round among abundant wildlife, some of
which is rare and endangered but given a chance to thrive here.
Buying beef & pork from us helps us to maintain the farm’s rich wildlife
habitats and thereby protecting the special plants and animals found here,
as well as protecting the rarest of all breeds of pig in Britain, from
extinction.
